Pinning a program to the taskbar
You can pin a desktop program, also called a desktop application, directly to the taskbar so that you can open it quickly and conveniently, rather than looking for the application on the Start screen.
If the application is already running, press and hold or right-click the app's button on the taskbar, then tap or click Pin this program to taskbar.
If the application isn't running, do the following:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then tap Search. (If you're using a mouse, point to the top-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, then click Search.)
Enter the application name, or scroll until you find it.
Swipe down on or right-click the application to select it.
Tap or click Pin to taskbar.
