Change my sync schedule

When you set up a sync partnership, you usually schedule when the partnership will automatically sync. You can adjust this schedule at any time.

  1. Open Sync Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Sync Center.

  2. Click the sync partnership that you want to change the sync schedule for, and then click Schedule on the toolbar. Some sync partnerships do not have a schedule you can adjust.

  3. If there is a sync schedule, make whatever changes you want to the schedule for that partnership.

Note

Sync scheduling options can vary from one sync partnership to another. Some device manufacturers provide their own sync scheduling options rather than using the scheduling options in Sync Center. If you are able to sync the device using Sync Center, you probably can change its schedule in Sync Center, too.
