3 easy steps to switch to Hotmail

Love all the new graymail features of Hotmail? Follow these steps to aggregate all of your accounts and use Hotmail as your main email web app. Or you can just migrate your other accounts and use Hotmail as your primary send-and-receive address. Don't have a Hotmail account? Sign up now.

Get your new Hotmail account.

If you don't already have one, you need to create a Hotmail account. You can either get a new email address (@hotmail.com or @live.com), or sign up with an existing email address that you want to keep using.

Transfer your email to Hotmail.

Hotmail can transfer your emails automatically from other accounts - including Gmail, Yahoo and AOL - and make sure that you receive future messages from those accounts. (The transfer could take a few hours if you have a lot of messages to bring over.)
