To open a new tab in Internet Explorer, swipe down from the top of the screen (or right-click) to bring up the Tabs bar, and tap or click the New Tab button.
Open a new InPrivate Browsing tab by swiping down from the top of the screen, and then on the Tabs bar, tap or click Tab tools, and then New InPrivate tab.
To open a new tab in Internet Explorer, click the New Tab button to the right of open tabs.
When you open a new tab, you can do these things:
Open a new page by typing or pasting an address into the Address bar.
Go to one of your frequently visited sites by clicking a link on the page.
Hide info about frequently visited sites by clicking Hide sites. Restore info by clicking Show sites.
Turn on InPrivate Browsing by clicking InPrivate Browsing.
Reopen tabs you've just closed by clicking Reopen closed tabs.
Reopen tabs from your last browsing session by clicking Reopen last session.
Open Suggested Sites by clicking Discover other sites you might like.
You can make your tabs appear either below to to the right of the address bar in Internet Explorer.
Open Internet Explorer.
Right–click an open space to the right of the New Tab button, and then select or clear Show tabs on a separate row.
