Before you get started, see if Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Live Mail are already on your PC. Click the Start button

, type Windows Live Photo Gallery, and see if it appears in the list of results. Do the same for Windows Live Mail. If they don't show up in the results, you can download Photo Gallery and Mail for free.
