We are currently working to fix error 80004003 in Movie Maker. In the meantime, our support team can fix Movie Maker project files so that you can open them. To get help from our support team we’ll need to have you upload the file to OneDrive, set the file’s permission to Public, and then send a request to our team for support.
Go to OneDrive.
You might need to sign in with your Microsoft account.
Go to the folder that you want to add files to.
Click Add files.
Click select them from your computer, select the project file (.wlmm) that Movie Maker can’t open, and click Open.
Go to the file you'd like to share and expand the right-most pane if it's collapsed.
Under Sharing, click Share. On the Get a link tab, under Make it Public!, click Get a link. Copy that link—you'll need it to fill out the assistance request form in step 4.
After you’ve uploaded the project file to OneDrive and set the permission to public, request help from our support team.
