Setting up FTP sites

If you want to transfer files to and from your computer over the Internet, set up a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site.

For information about installing FTP, creating an FTP site, and setting up security for your FTP site, go to IIS 7.0: Set up FTP in IIS 7.0 on the Microsoft TechNet website. To manage FTP sites from a web server running Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0, you must use IIS 6.0 Manager, the IIS 6.0 MMC snap-in.
