Delete your Internet cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites put on your computer to store information about you and your preferences. Follow these steps to delete the cookies stored on your computer. After you delete cookies, websites will no longer remember information you have entered on previous visits (for example, they will no longer have a record of your user name or preferences).

  1. Open Internet Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, and then clicking Internet Options.

  2. Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Delete.

  3. Select the Cookies check box, click Delete, and then click OK.
