Get the latest Help content

If your computer is connected to the Internet, you can get the latest Help content from the Windows website. This gives you access to new content, so you have a better chance of getting your questions answered.

To get the latest Help content

  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then click Help and Support.
  2. On the toolbar in Windows Help and Support, click Options, and then click Settings.

  3. Under Search results, select the Improve my search results by using online Help (recommended) check box, and then click OK. The words Online Help will be displayed in the lower-right corner of the Help and Support window when you are connected.

When you include Windows Help online, you can provide feedback on individual Help topics. Microsoft reviews the feedback and uses it to help improve quality.

To provide feedback, under Was this helpful?, click Yes, No, or Somewhat. You can provide written comments explaining your choice. If you click No or Somewhat, you'll also be asked to clarify why the topic didn't help you.
