Windows 7 online ID providers

An online ID provider gives you an account for accessing online services, such as e‑mail or instant messaging.

After you download online ID provider software, you can link an online user account to a user account on your computer. Once your online ID and your user account are linked, you can access certain features on your computer over the Internet, such as remote media streaming.

Click the button that applies to your version of Windows 7 to download Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant 6.5. The Sign-in Assistant allows you to link a Windows Live ID to a Windows user account. Am I running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Windows?

If you don’t see the company that you use for e-mail or other online services, check back later. Additional online ID providers will be added as they become available. Contact widprov@microsoft.com to learn how to become an online ID provider.
