How do I use conversation threading?

Conversation threading groups your email messages by subject, so that you can see all the related mail on a particular topic at once.

To turn on conversation threading

  1. On the toolbar, click Options, and then click More options.

  2. Under Customize your mail, click Conversation settings, and then select Group messages by conversation.

  3. Click Save, and then click Go to inbox in the left pane.

To reply to, delete, or forward a message that isn't the most recent in the thread

  1. Open the message you want to respond to.

  2. In the upper right corner of the message header, click Actions, and then select an action to take.

To turn off conversation threading

  1. On the toolbar, click Options, and then click More options.

  2. Under Customize your mail, click Conversation settings, and then select Show messages individually.

  3. Click Save, and then click Go to inbox in the left pane.
