Bing Travel app: Frequently asked questions

In the Bing Finance, Maps, News, Sports, and Weather apps, as in all Windows 8 and Windows RT apps, you can search or share info the same way:

  • To search: Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
    (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.)

  • To share or send info: Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Share.
    (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Share.)

  • To update the Travel app:

    1. On the Start screen, tap or click Store to open the Windows Store.

    2. Tap or click Update.

How do I do other travel-related tasks?

To find flights and hotels or do other travel-related tasks, swipe up from the bottom edge or down from the top edge, and then tap the option you want. (If you're using a mouse, right-click within the app, and then click the option you want.)

How do I view 360-degree panoramas of specific tourist attractions around the world?

  1. Scroll to the right, and then tap or click a panorama.

  2. To see 360-degree views, drag the image in any direction.
