Play your videos

Play your videos using the Video app

Whether it's baby's first steps, your band's sold-out show, or your latest cinematic masterpiece, you can enjoy all of your movie moments with the Video app.

If you’ve created a movie with a video app from the Windows Store or with Movie Maker, you’ll need to save your project as a movie file. If the app you're using lets you save to a specific location on your PC, it's a good idea to save all your videos into the Videos library.

Play your videos

To play your video, you can either browse to your Video library and double-tap or double-click the file, or, if you already have the Video app open, slide or scroll to the left. You should see the videos that are saved in your Videos library and can tap or click to play one.

If you don’t see your videos, tap or click Open or play something to find the video you want to play.
