Windows Live Essentials Help & How-to
When you use Windows Live Mesh to sync a folder between devices, any changes you make to the folder on one device will be reflected on the other devices syncing that folder. Add, edit, or delete files in the folder on one device, and they get added, edited, or deleted on all the other devices. All transfers are encrypted using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols. With Windows Live Mesh, you can sync up to 200 folders, each up to 50 GB in size and containing up to 100,000 files.

If a file in a synced folder is created or changed from two different computers while both are offline, both versions of the file will be saved. The file names will show where the version was created. If the synced folder is shared, the file names will also show who created the version.
