Change the order of gadgets on a Windows SideShow-compatible device

You can change the order in which most gadgets appear on your device by moving your frequently used gadgets to the top of the list.

Note that you must have a Windows SideShow-compatible device installed to complete this procedure.

  1. Open Windows Sideshow by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Windows SideShow.

  2. Click Change the order in which gadgets appear.

    If more than one device is installed, select the name of the device that you want to reorder gadgets for.

  3. In the list, click the gadget name, and then use an arrow button to move the gadget up or down in the list.

  4. When you have finished, click OK.

Notes

  • You can reorder only gadgets that are turned on and appear in Control Panel. Some gadgets that are installed by the device manufacturer may not appear in Control Panel.

  • Not all devices support gadget reordering.
