Delete a sticky note

You can delete a sticky note with a single tap. You can also choose to display a confirmation message when you delete a note.

  1. Open Sticky Notes by tapping the Start button Picture of the Start button, typing Sticky Notes in the search box, and then tapping Sticky Notes in the list of results.

  2. Tap the Delete This Note button.

  3. To display a confirmation message when you delete a note, tap the Tools menu, point to Options, and then tap Confirm on Delete.

  • You can delete only one sticky note at a time.

  • You cannot recover a sticky note after you delete it.
