Find your computer name

Your computer's name identifies it on a network.

Open System by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.

Under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, you can find your computer's name, and its full computer name if your computer is on a domain.

Your computer name is also listed in the Welcome Center. To open the Welcome Center, click the Start button , and then click Welcome Center.
