How do I turn off BitLocker Drive Encryption remotely?

Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption is scriptable and can be controlled through Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). BitLocker configuration settings can also be managed with Group Policy.

WMI is the recommended way to enable or disable BitLocker on a remote computer.
