Install or uninstall a Windows SideShow-compatible device

To determine whether you can use your device with Windows SideShow, look for the Windows SideShow logo on your device, check the information that came with your device, or go to the manufacturer’s website. For more information, go to the Windows SideShow website.

  • For instructions about how to install a device to use with Windows SideShow, check the information that came with your device or go to the manufacturer’s website.

  1. Open Windows Sideshow by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Windows SideShow.

  2. In the left pane, click the name of the device that you want to uninstall.

  3. Under More options, click Uninstall this device.

  4. When prompted, click Uninstall.

If you decide to reinstall the device, Windows automatically detects that it is a Windows SideShow-compatible device.
