Keep game information up to date

Windows can provide additional information about the games installed on your computer. Windows searches the information that comes with each game for an Internet address where updates can be found, and then checks that address. Usually, this address is a publisher's website. You must be connected to the Internet to check for updates.

  1. Open the Games folder by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Games, and then clicking Games Explorer.

  2. On the toolbar, click Options.

  3. Select the Download information about installed games check box.

Note

  • You can also check for more information about the game by clicking the link to the publisher's or developer's website in the Details pane.
