The quickest way to print a document or file is to print using Windows. You don't need to open the file, choose print options, or change your printer settings.

  1. Open Documents by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Documents.

  2. Locate the file that you want to print.

  3. Right-click the file, and then click Print. Windows will print it using your default printer settings.

Tip

  • You can print from most other programs, typically by opening the document or file and choosing a print option from the File menu. To see how to print with a program, check the Help documentation for the program you want to use.
