Fill in website forms and passwords automatically in Internet Explorer 9

AutoComplete stores passwords and other information that you frequently type into web form fields, such as your name and address.

You can choose where AutoComplete is used and how it saves passwords.

To change your AutoComplete settings

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the Tools button Picture of the Tools button, and then click Internet options.
  3. Click the Content tab.

  4. Under AutoComplete, click Settings.

  5. Select or clear the following check boxes:

    • Address bar

    • Browsing history

    • Favorites

    • Feeds

    • Use Windows Search for better results

    • Forms

    • User names and passwords on forms

    • Ask me before saving passwords

  6. Click OK, and then click OK again.
