How to get an Easy Transfer cable

You can buy an Easy Transfer cable on the web, from your computer manufacturer, or at an electronics store. Using an Easy Transfer cable to move files and settings from your old computer to a new one helps simplify the transfer process. Notes

• You cannot use a regular universal serial bus (USB) cable to transfer files and settings with Windows Easy Transfer.
