It's a great time for presentations

PowerPoint starts you with a blank document. Follow the prompt on the screen to add a title:

To change the font of your presentation, select the text, and then on the Home tab, choose a font from the menu.

Go to the Insert tab and choose Picture. Then locate a picture you want to use on your computer. You can also choose from Clip Art, or insert an entire Photo Album. Once you have a picture in your presentation, you can grab its corners to resize it or move it around.

A theme will automatically change the fonts, backgrounds, and accent colors of your presentation to give it a professional look. Go to the Design tab and choose from the Built-in Themes.

Nothing drives your point home like a chart. And you can easily create a chart from scratch in PowerPoint.

On the Insert tab, choose Chart to create virtually any style of chart you can imagine. PowerPoint will guide you through the process of making and customizing your chart.

You can also copy a chart from Excel and paste it into PowerPoint. Do this the same way you would copy and paste any other piece of content, by either right-clicking it, or using the keyboard shortcuts to Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V).

To add a video to your presentation, go to the Insert tab and click Video. You can add video from your computer, or use the embed code to insert an online video.

Once your video is inserted, you can resize and format it by right-clicking it and then clicking Format video.

Once your presentation is complete, launch it by clicking Slide Show Start in the lower-right corner of the PowerPoint window (pressing F5 will also launch the slide show).
