Video apps in the Windows Store
You can use the Video app to watch all of the video content already on your PC.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.)
Enter video, and then click Video.
Slide or scroll to the left to see your personal videos.
Tap or click a video to play it.
To quickly search for a video, tap or click the search button in the upper-right corner. Or, you can tap or click personal videos, and then, using the arrow buttons next to personal videos and date added, you can sort and filter the list.
If you want to pause a video, touch the screen or move the mouse, and then press Pause. You can also pause, change the volume, and adjust other playback options by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or right-clicking anywhere in the screen.
When you open the Video app for the first time, it automatically finds the video files stored in the Videos folder. If you’re not seeing all of your videos, it might be because the files are in a location on your PC that the Video app doesn’t automatically scan. Here’s how to add your videos:
Enter Desktop, and then click Desktop.
Tap or click the File Explorer icon on the taskbar.
Tap or click View, tap or click Navigation pane, and then tap or click Show libraries.
Under Libraries, tap or click Videos.
Tap or click Manage.
Tap or click Manage Library.
Tap or click the Add button.
Tap or click the folder where your videos are stored, and then tap or click Include Folder.
Tap or click OK, and then restart the Video app.
If you're videos are stored on an external drive, you need to copy them to the Videos folder before you can watch them with the Video app.
