Show or hide the menu bar in Windows Media Player

The menu bar in Windows Media Player (previously known as Classic Menus) gives you access to most of the Player functions, but it's hidden by default.

Although many of the functions in the menu bar also appear in other areas of the Player, you might want to show the menu bar to access the less frequently used commands that appear only on the File, View, Play, Tools, and Help menus in the Player Library.

For more information about the Player Library, see Getting started with Windows Media Player.
