The Bing Finance app provides unique content for people in different markets around the world. You can change your market settings within the app.
Swipe left from the right of the screen or, if you're using a mouse, move your cursor to the bottom-right corner of the screen, then click Settings.
In Settings, select Options and choose the region for the stock market that you'd like to be your default exchange from the drop-down.
Close the app by swiping down with your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom. On the Start screen, tap or click the Finance tile to re-open with a different market.
Bing Finance provides coverage for a wide variety of securities such as stock/fund/ETF/index, with price-related information, charts and fundamental data.
Tap or click Search Quotes on any page.
A search bar will appear on the right of the screen. Enter your query in the box to search.
With this feature, you can add and track your favourite stocks in your Watchlist.
Swipe down from the top of the screen or right-click with your mouse, then tap or click the Watchlist button.
Click the tile with the + symbol.
Search for a stock/fund/ETF/index using its ticker or company name and select the entry from the list.
The stock/fund/ETF/index has now been added to your Watchlist. You can see details including price, recent news and financial statements by tapping or clicking on the item in your Watchlist.
You can change the order of stocks in your Watchlist or remove them completely from the list
Drag and drop the Watchlist items to arrange them in your desired order.
Swipe across a stock listing to select it, then tap the option you want at the bottom of the screen. If you're using a mouse, right-click the listing.
To reorder more than one item in the Watchlist, select the items and use the options at the bottom of the screen: tap or click Move up, Move down or Remove.
Bing Finance supports all major stock exchanges globally.
Swipe left from the right edge of the screen and tap Settings. If you're using a mouse, point to the bottom-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, then click Settings.
Select About, then tap or click Product Details to see a list of supported stock exchanges. You can view details of stocks/funds/ETFs listed on these exchanges in the app.
This feature will help you add stocks from other exchanges around the world to your Watchlist.
Tap or click the tile with the + symbol.
Search for a stock/fund/ETF/index using its ticker or company name and select the entry from the list. You can identify the exchange name along with the ticker and company name.
You can distinguish the international stocks by the exchange short name on the tiles in your Watchlist.

You can change the way the Watchlist is displayed and sort stocks according to criteria such as last price, performance, market cap and more.
Swipe down from the top of the screen or right-click with your mouse, then tap or click the Watchlist button.
To change the way the Watchlist is displayed, swipe down from the top of the screen or right-click with your mouse. At the bottom of the screen, tap or click List View or Grid View.
In List View, tapping or clicking the column headers will sort the stocks according to the values you choose. Tap or click the column header again to reverse the order.
In Grid View, swipe down from the top of the screen or right-click with your mouse, then tap or click Sort and select your preferred criteria.
Pin individual stocks to the Start screen to see live updates about the company.
Swipe across a stock listing to select it. At the bottom of the page, a menu will appear. If you're using a mouse, right-click the stock to see the menu.
At the bottom of the screen, tap or click Pin to Start.
Once a stock listing has been pinned to the Start screen, you’ll be able to get the company stock quote and related news from sources across the web.
This feature gives you a summary of the top world market indices during the current or most recent trading day.
Swipe down from the top of the screen, or right-click with your mouse. Tap or click the Market button and scroll to the right to World Markets.
Tap or click World Markets to see other international market indices.
Clicking on an index will take you to a page with more detailed information.
You can find more details about indices, with information such as values, charts, historical data, movers and constituents.
On the Finance home screen, go to the Market section.
The index page will open. Scroll to the right to see movers, constituents and other information about the index.
In World Markets, you can see other international market indices. Tap or click an index to see the Index Details page.
You can also find major stock markets through the search bar. Start typing in the app to display the search bar and select a search term.
Quotes are real-time for all trades executed on the BATS exchange. If not traded on the BATS, quotes will appear delayed from the primary listing exchange. Delay information for different exchanges can be found on the Disclaimer page. To see this information, swipe left from the right of your screen, then tap or click Settings, then About. Tap or click Disclaimer.

Stock prices are displayed along with the trading time information and charts on the stock details page.
On the home page, swipe to the right to see the Tools section.
Tap or click individual tiles to use the various personal finance tools.
You can add the top five stocks in your Watchlist to the Start screen to see live updates about them.
Swipe down from the top of the screen, or right-click with your mouse. Tap or click the Watchlist button.
Swipe down from the top of the screen, or right-click with your mouse, then tap or click Pin to Start. Enter a name or accept the default name, Watchlist – top 5, for the tile that will be placed on your Start screen.
The top five items in your Watchlist will be pinned as a tile at the end of your Start screen, and you can view the updates for these stocks by tapping or clicking the tile. You can also change the order of the items in the Watchlist that are displayed in the tile.
This feature provides information about a stock in a detailed page with the latest news, financial results, charts and trading ranges.
Swipe left from the right edge of the screen, then tap or click Search.
Enter the full name or ticker symbol for a stock, fund or ETF, then select the matching entry from the list.
The stock page will open. Scroll to the right to view news, financials and other information about the company.
Bing Finance provides a variety of featured financial news sources in the app as well as easy access to the latest business news across the web.
Swipe down from the top of the screen with your finger or right-click with your mouse to open the navigation bar.
Under Featured, you'll find a selection of featured sources of financial news. Tap or click your choice to go straight to content from that source.
If you'd like to browse a large list of financial sites around the web, tap or click Best of Web in the navigation bar.
Search for information on the gainers, losers and most active stocks during the current or most recent trading session.
Swipe down from the top of the screen. Then tap or click the arrow next to the Market button. From the available subcategories, tap or click Market Movers.
You can compare the exchange rate of your local currency with major currencies worldwide.
Swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap or click the arrow next to the Market button. From the available subcategories, tap or click Currencies.
Tap or click the currency rates tiles to view the exchange rates of the world’s top currencies. A currency converter tool is also available on this page.
This feature helps you add brokerage accounts to the Bing Finance app.
On the Today page, go to the My Finance cluster next to the Watchlist.
Tap or click the + icon to go to the Add an account page.
Choose your online broker by clicking on the corresponding tile to go to its sign-in screen.
Enter your sign-in info and tap or click the Done button at the bottom.
If authentication happens successfully, you'll see the Select Accounts screen, where you can select accounts to add to My Finance. By default, all your accounts will be selected.
If you're adding an account for the first time, you'll be asked to create a one-off 4-digit PIN to help secure your personal data on the device.
Create your PIN, then tap or click the Done button at the bottom.
The brokerage account(s) will be added to the My Finance cluster. You can tap or click the tile to view details including account balances, positions, transactions, etc.
This feature provides information on the brokerage account details page, including positions, transactions, portfolio mix, movers, etc.
Tap or click any brokerage tile from the My Finance cluster on the Today page to go to the brokerage’s details page.
On the details page, you'll see the following features:
The panel on the left gives an account summary of all accounts that you have added from a particular broker. Tap or click any account or the + icon to view details.
The Positions section gives a detailed view of your portfolio’s market price and market value.
Portfolio mix gives an overall composition of your portfolio and how it is divided among the securities you own.
The Movers section shows the top gainers and losers in your portfolio to help you gauge the movement of your securities.
Transactions shows the transactions you have made in this account in the past year.
The More section helps you engage more with your broker’s website so you can make trades or learn more about products by going to the broker’s education centre.
You can pin your favourite broker from My Finance to Start for quick access to its details.
Tap or click any brokerage tile from the My Finance cluster on the Today page to go to its details page.
Swipe down from the top of the screen or up from the bottom to bring up a menu. If you're using a mouse, right-click anywhere on the page to see the menu.
On the bottom menu, tap or click Pin to Start.
You can choose to edit the name that appears on the pinned tile.
Tap or click Pin to Start.
You've successfully pinned your favourite broker to Start. Tap or click that tile for easy access to your favourite broker's details page.
