There are several ways to print pictures in Windows.
Windows Photo Viewer is a desktop app that provides a great way to print photos. You can print a single picture (and choose from a variety of popular sizes) or you can print multiple pictures at once.
You can download your favorite image viewing or editing app from the Windows Store and print by using the Devices charm.
And you can print pictures by using a variety of other Desktop apps.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then tap Search.(If you're using a mouse, point to the bottom-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, then click Search.)
Enter File Explorer in the search box, and then tap or click File Explorer.
Double-tap or double-click the Pictures folder.
If the pictures you want to print are stored somewhere other than the Pictures folder, go to that place instead.
If you want to print a single picture, press and hold or right-click the picture you want to print, and then tap or click Print.
If you want to print more than one picture, press and hold the Ctrl key, tap or click each of the pictures you want to print, then tap or click Print.
In the Print Pictures dialogue box, choose a printer, paper size, print quality, print style and the number of copies.
When you’re happy with your selection, tap or click Print.
Enter the name of the app in the search box, and then tap or click the app to open it.
Select or open the photos you want to print.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Devices.(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Devices.)
Tap or click Print.
If the app you're using doesn't support printing, you'll see a message that says This app can't print.
Choose a printer from the list.
You’ll see a preview of what you're printing, along with the number of copies and the page orientation on the preview pane.
If you can't find the printer you want, you can add it. For more info, see Installing a printer.
To see what else you can do, tap or click More settings.
The options in More settings differ for each printer, but you can typically change the paper type, page layout, print orientation, and other output settings. The options you can see are made available by the printer manufacturer.
When you’re happy with the settings, tap or click Print.
Each desktop app determines how you print from that app, so the way to print will vary from app to app. Here are some of the most common ways to print from desktop apps:
Look in the File menu. It's very common for a Print option to be located in the app's File menu.
This might bring up the application's Print dialogue box.
Look for a print icon or button. App manufacturers commonly put a print icon or button somewhere on the screen. These are commonly located on a toolbar positioned across the top or bottom of the app.
If none of those ways work, look at the documentation that came with the app or visit the app's help and support site to learn how to print.
