Get the latest Help content

When you need help and your computer is connected to the Internet, you can include the latest Help content from Windows Help online when you search. Search results that include Windows Help online also include new content, so you have a better chance of getting your question answered.

  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then click Help and Support.
  2. On the toolbar in Windows Help and Support, click Options, and then click Settings.

  3. Under Search Results, select the Include Windows Online Help and Support when you search for help check box, and then click OK. The words Online Help will be displayed in the lower-right corner of the Help and Support window when you are connected.

When you include Windows Help online and are connected to the Internet, you can provide feedback on individual Help topics. Microsoft reviews the feedback and uses it to help improve quality.

To provide feedback, under Was this information helpful?, click Yes, No, or Somewhat. You can provide written comments explaining your choice. If you click No or Somewhat, you'll also be asked to clarify why the topic didn't help you. When you're done, click Finish to send the results.
