How to install the Welsh Windows 7 Language Interface Pack

This article describes the steps you need to take to install the Welsh Windows 7 Language Interface Pack (LIP).
Pre-Installation Check List.

You are running a
genuine copy
of an English version of Windows 7 as this is required to download and install the LIP.

You have at least 8Mb of hard disk space available.

You have saved all your current work.

We highly recommend that you
suspend BitLocker protection
.
Step by Step Instructions
Step1: Download the Welsh Lip from
the Microsoft download center
.
Step2: Choose the language to install Welsh (Cymraeg) and press the Next button.
Select the display languages to install
Step 3. Accept the Microsoft Software License Terms and press the Next button
Step 4. We highly recommend that you read and or print the readme file which contains information about the Language Interface Pack such as supported platforms and known issues.
Open and read the readme file.
Step 5. The language Interface Pack will now install on your computer. Once completed press the Next button.

Step 6. Choose your display language to be Cymraeg and press the Change display language button

Step 7. You may be asked to restart Windows for the system language change to take effect, if you do then press the Restart now button.

Step 8. Thats it. After re-starting you can now start to use Windows 7 in Welsh.
