If you change any Family Safety settings, for just one child or for all family members, it's a good idea to refresh the Family Safety Filter to make sure it's using the most current info. The Family Safety Filter refreshes its settings automatically at certain times, but if you notice that web content isn't being filtered the way you would like or if you don’t see activity reported as you expect, you can refresh the Family Safety Filter manually.
The Family Safety Filter refreshes its settings automatically when:
A child asks a parent in person for permission to view a specific website. After the parent signs in with a Microsoft account and clicks Allow or Block for the website in question, the Family Safety Filter is updated on that PC.
A parent with administrator privileges signs into Family Safety, adds or changes user accounts monitored by Family Safety, and saves the changes.
Sign in to your PC with a parent or guardian's Microsoft account.
Click the refresh button in the upper right corner of the Family Safety dialog box.
your settings on the Family Safety website.
