Set your preferences for the Windows Store

You can set your preferences in the Windows Store so it's easier for you to find apps that use your preferred language or to find apps that are built with accessibility features.

To set your preferences in the Store, follow these steps:

  1. On the Start screen, tap or click Store to open the Windows Store.

  2. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Settings.)

  3. Tap or click Preferences. If you haven't signed in to the Windows Store, sign in using your Microsoft account.

  4. Choose a preference to turn on or off:

    • Make it easier to find apps in my preferred languages — Turn on to only show apps that support the preferred languages for your PC when you browse the Store. The supported languages for an app are listed in the Details section of an app's description page. You can change your preferred languages in the Language Control Panel. For more info on how to use the Language Control Panel, see Using multiple languages.

    • Make it easier to find apps that include accessibility features — Turn on to only show apps that meet accessibility requirements (determined by the publisher) when you search or browse the Store.
