Internet Explorer stores the following types of browsing history info when you browse the web:
Temporary Internet files
Cookies
A history of the websites you've visited
Info you've entered into the Address bar or websites
Saved passwords
Temporary info stored by add-ons
Resetting Internet Explorer settings will not affect your browsing history, unless you select the Delete personal settings check box during reset. If you only want to view or delete your browsing history, you don't need to reset all Internet Explorer settings.
Show allOpen Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Settings.
In the Settings dialog box, click View files.
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, and and then click Internet Options.
Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Delete.
In the Delete Browing History dialog box, select the check boxes for the info you want to delete, click Delete, and then click OK.
