Open the HomeGroup troubleshooter
If your computer is having problems viewing computers or shared files in your homegroup, try using the HomeGroup troubleshooter to fix the problem. It makes sure that your computer's different network services are running correctly, and that your computer is a member of a homegroup.

To make sure you have the most up-to-date troubleshooters from the Windows Online Troubleshooting Service, your computer should be connected to the Internet. For more information, see Troubleshooting in Windows.
Open the HomeGroup troubleshooter by clicking the Start button
, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. In the left pane, click View all, and then click HomeGroup.
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
