Using the calendar in

Here’s how to perform some basic tasks in your calendar.

To go to your calendar

  1. Click the down arrow next to the logo. logo and arrow
  2. Click Calendar.

Add an event

  • Click New.

  • In month, week, or day view click anywhere.

  • To enter an event that spans more than one time slot or day, click and drag.

Edit an event

Click the event.

Show or hide calendars

  1. Click the Options icon Options icon, then click Options.
  2. To hide a calendar click the calendar name. To show the calendar, click it again.

Change the calendar view to month, week, day, agenda or task

  1. In the upper right, click View.

  2. Select the view you want.

Briefly see an entire month when you’re in week or day view

Point to the date or day in the upper left to bring up the mini navigator.

Go to today in week or day view

  • Click the Today link in the mini navigator.


  • Click the Calendar logo.

Jump to a particular date

  • Click the date.

  • Use the mini navigator.

  • Use the scroll wheel on your mouse.

Change calendar settings and colors

  1. Click the Options icon Options icon, then click Options.
  2. Click the name of the calendar you want to change.

  3. After you make the changes, click Save.
