When you create a password to sign in to Windows, you can also create a hint to help you remember it. If you've already created a password, you'll need to change it before you create a password hint.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)
Tap or click Users. Under Sign-in options, tap or click Change your password.
If you're prompted to verify your current password, enter it, and then tap or click Next.
Enter the new password you want to use, and then verify it.
Enter the password hint you want to use. Remember that anyone using this PC will be able to see your password hint.
Tap or click Next, and then tap or click Finish.
