Recovery disks can help you fix problems with your PC, even if it won't start. The options for system recovery and making recovery disks in Windows 8.1
are a little different than in previous versions of Windows. If you want to make a recovery disk, see Create a USB recovery drive.
You can use boot options to start Windows in different advanced troubleshooting modes to help you find and fix problems on your PC. For more info, see Windows Startup Settings (including safe mode). Or, if you can't figure out what's wrong with your PC, you can try to restore, refresh, or reset it. For more info, see How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC.
