Start and stop a network presentation

You have complete control over a network presentation. However, before you can start your presentation, you must connect your computer to a network projector. For more information, see Giving a presentation over a network.

After you connect to a network projector, the Network Presentation dialog box appears. Use this dialog box to pause the presentation, resume the presentation when you're ready to continue, and end it when you're finished.

Show all

  • After you find a network projector in the Connect to a Network Projector wizard, click Connect.

  • In the Network Presentation dialog box, click Pause.

This pauses the video stream between your computer and the projector, displaying a still image. Click Pause when you need to do something else on your computer while giving a presentation.

  • In the Network Presentation dialog box, click Resume.

This restarts the presentation at the point where you paused it.

  • In the Network Presentation dialog box, click Disconnect.

This disconnects your computer from the network projector. The program that you were using for the presentation, for example, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, continues to run until you exit the program.
