The Games folder is the central location for all games on your computer. In the Games folder, you can find and open the games installed on your computer, download game information, and keep track of which games you've played most recently.

The games that are included with Windows are automatically added to the Games folder. For more information about installing Windows features, see Turn Windows features on or off.

  • Insert the game CD into your computer and then follow the instructions on your screen.

New games usually appear in the Games folder automatically, but some older games might not. If this happens, you can drag the game's executable file to the Games folder. You can find the game's executable file in the folder where you installed the game.
