You can keep Windows Media Center visible on your desktop so that you can enjoy digital media content while doing other tasks on your computer. You can also resize the Windows Media Center window so that you can see everything that you want on your computer.

To keep Windows Media Center on top of other windows

  1. On the start screen, scroll to Tasks, click settings, click General, and then click Startup and Window Behavior.

  2. Select the Windows Media Center window always on top check box.

  3. Click Save to save your changes.

To resize the Windows Media Center window

  1. Move the mouse to make the Windows Media Center menu bar appear.

  2. Click the Restore button  Picture of the Restore button on the menu bar in the upper-right corner.
  3. To change the window size, press and drag the resize handle in the lower-right corner of the Windows Media Center window.

  4. To move the Windows Media Center window, click the title bar, and then drag the window to a different location on your screen.
