Change webpage text size in Internet Explorer

You can make webpages easier to read by changing the text size. If you change the text size, the graphics, buttons, and text boxes will remain their original size; only the text size will change.

To change webpage text size

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the Page button, click Text Size, and then click the size you want.

Notes

  • This will change the size of text displayed in webpages, unless the text size was explicitly set by the person who created the page. To learn how to override text settings set by the person who created the webpage and use the fonts you pick instead, see Change the colors and fonts used for webpages.

  • To increase the size of everything on a webpage, including graphics and controls, use the zoom feature. For more information about zoom, see Zoom in on a webpage.
