Webpages are stored in your Temporary Internet Files folder the first time you view them in your web browser. This speeds up the display of pages you frequently visit or have already seen, because Internet Explorer can open them from your hard disk instead of from the Internet.

To view temporary Internet files

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

  3. Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Settings.

  4. In the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings dialog box, click View files.
