Reading List helps you keep track of all the things you want to read. If you don't have time to read something when you come across it on the web or in one of your favorite apps, you can share it to your Reading List and come back to it later.

  • Reading List doesn't work with desktop programs or web browsers in the desktop.

Here's how to share an item to Reading List:

1. Swipe in from the right edge and tap Share

Swipe in from the right and tap Share

When you've found something you want to add to Reading List, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Share.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Share.)

  • If you don't see Reading List as an option after you tap or click Share, you're likely using a desktop web browser or app, so Reading List isn't available.

2. Tap Reading List

Tap or click Reading List

Tap or click Reading List. You'll see a preview of the item you're adding to your list. You can choose a category for the item from the menu, or create a new category.

3. Tap Add

Tap or click Add

Tap or click Add. The item you added will appear in your Reading List under Today.

The articles, stories, and other content you add to Reading List will appear in a visually rich chronological list. You can read them at your leisure, and delete them when you're done.
