Once you’ve added videos and photos to a Movie Maker project, you can add music to help set the mood of your movie.
In Movie Maker, open the project you want to add music to.
On the Home tab, in the Add group, click the bottom half of Add music (in Windows Live Essentials, click Add music).
Select from the list of music providers. Follow the instructions on their websites to find and download music.
Make sure to remember the location on your PC where you download your music so it's easy to find when you're ready to add it to your movie.
Go to the point in your movie that you'd like the music to start playing. In the Home tab, in the Add group, click Add music.
Browse to where you saved your music file, select it, and then click Open to add it to your movie.
